Health Ministry Team promotes mental and physical health in many ways.
The Health Ministry Team is part of our church's Congregational Care Ministry. The purpose of the Health Ministry Team is to promote physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health within our congregation. There are no specific skills necessary to join our team, just an interest in health and wholeness through education, support, and service.
Blood pressure screenings are offered on the third Sunday of each month, and there are also blood drives through the Florida Blood Center every few months.
This ministry develops activities that foster a sense of well-being through education, screenings, support, and socialization. Activities include seminars on health topics, support groups, programs on nutrition/healthy cooking, exercise and we welcome any and all suggetions.
