Coronado offers Adult Sunday School classes between 9:20 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. Everyone is invited to participate, so review the offerings below and please come join us! 9:20 a.m.
The Seekers Class meets in the Chapel.
This group studies a variety of topics. The class meets year round and Bill Waters is the facilitator. Visitors and new members are always welcome. The class is currently in a 9-week study of the Fruit of the Spirit, Galatians 5:22, using different passages in the Bible.
9:30 a.m.
The Class With No Name meets in Room 116.
This class explores various topics, building on subject matter introduced in the Living the Questions classes and explores contemporary material from respected theologians/authors on a wide variety of questions.
Topics include Living the Questions materials and books by Borg, Crossan, and other contributors to the Living the Questions curriculum. Additionally, the class examined works of Karen Armstrong, Bart Ehrman and others. The class is currently studying Karen Armstrong's, "The Case for God". You need only bring an open mind and a willingness to speak up. Gary Earl is the facilitator. This class meets year round.
10:45 a.m.
The Friendship Class meets in the Chapel.
Led by Ros Cummings, they are studying Easter from the Back Side. This class meets from October through April.
