Sermon: Cuba: United By God’s Grace
Affirming our common bond in Jesus Christ and our historical Wesleyan ties, we, the members of The Methodist Church in Cuba and the Florida Annual Conference of The United Methodist Church, entered into a covenant twenty-one years ago which is known today as “Methodists United in Prayer”. Our steadfast bond of love for one another is rooted in our shared values as followers of Jesus Christ: God’s unconditional love for all, prayer, spiritual development, mutuality, respect, and collaboration. CCUMC continues to nurture her commitment with local churches and their pastors/families in Cuba in a spirit of openness, humility, grace, and above all, love for one another through our prayers, presence, gifts, service, and our witness.
