FLUMC has a special relationship, known as Methodists United in Prayer, with the Methodist Church in Cuba, and Coronado is in a sister church relationship with seven churches in Las Tunas Province. Our guest will be Robert Pinera, a Cuban-American who was part of the Peter Pan airlift of children in the 1950s. Robert travels to Cuba frequently with FLUMC mission groups and has accompanied two teams from Coronado. He will discuss the current state of the church in Cuba and will also talk about our plans to take a team to Cuba in May 2017. He will meet with those interested in being part of the team at 9 a.m., Wednesday, January 18, in Room 116.

Dinner will start at 5:45 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall with the program in the Music-Lecture Suite, 6:30-7:30 p.m. The cost will be $6.00 per person for the dinner, and there is no charge for the program. Come for dinner; come for an inspiring program; or come to both and enjoy an evening of no cook-ing, no clean-up, and fellowship!

Reservations are required for dinner. Sign-up by  calling 386-428-6252 before 12 p.m. on the Monday preceding the dinner. Please come out and join us!
